Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets about 5 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Pinch of cayenne optional
  • Lemon wedges and cilantro for serving

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F. Pat the salmon dry.
  2. Mix yogurt, oil, lemon zest, ginger, paprika, cumin, garam masala, salt, and cayenne. Spread a thin layer over the top and sides of each fillet.
  3. Lightly oil the basket and arrange salmon skin-side down with space between pieces.
  4. Air-fry 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness, until the center reaches 145°F. Do not flip.
  5. Rest 2 minutes and serve with lemon wedges and cilantro.

Notes

  • Do not leave fish in acidic marinade for hours.
  • Use a flexible spatula to lift the skin cleanly.
  • Check temperature from the side into the center.
  • Cook different-thickness fillets separately if necessary.
